Generator.x focuses on a new generation of artists and designers who embrace code as a way of producing new forms of creative expression. Generator.x was actually started as a conference and touring exhibition by founder Marius Watz, but with all that content, it would be stupid not to build a blog around it, right?

Yo! This is sooo good. Rob Meek is doing great things for all of us in the form of FontStruct, a DIY font creator… the latest product by Font Shop. If you’re any type of true creative, you have an appreciation for originality and typography. Welcome to the best of both worlds. Spread the word! Via WSDIA

Those crazy guys at the MIT Lab are at it again. “Based on a dynamic, interactive OpenGL-based scripting engine, E15 exposes an entirely new face to web content, freely modifiable by each individual user.” We can’t wait to get our hands on this!

As you know, we admire busy people around here. Andreas Koller definitely falls in that category. Andreas studied under Stefan Sagmeister last year, just launched Strukt, (a design studio for events and exhibitions) and is also finding time to do a lot of personal work and experimentation with Processing. Two thumbs up mate!
Flight 404 is the online showcase of Processing code guru Robert Hodgin. If you haven’t heard of Robert, you might be more familiar with his other work as co-founder of The Barbarian Group. Hands down some of the most crazy beautiful motion work we’ve ever seen.

The project’s main goal is to leverage a critical understanding of different visualization methods, across a series of disciplines. If you’re a Tufte fan, you’ll going to love this site.

Meet the “Ladybug”—a new iPod speaker collabo between Vestalife and Element skateboards art directors. Fun stuff.

Jamie Dobson started with a background in architecture and later moved into communication design. Using her own LED text machine and record trace machine (above), Jamie creates some of the most original art and design we’ve seen in some time. This is some crazy amazing stuff.
